Hi Nola, I love those commonalities between tennis and writing. I never knew about all the strawberries and cream used at Wimbledon. Must be one of those gracious old British traditions. Great reminders to be adaptable, and that bad behaviour comes back to bite :) I wish there was also a similarity between a writer's and Wimbledon champion's paychecks. Perhaps there might be, for those whose initials are JKR or GRRM.
LOL Paula - Maybe I should do another post on 'Five Ways in Which Wimbledon Doesn't Help with Your Writing'. I found a site with the breakdown of the prize money. Singles winners get 2.2 million pounds and even first-round losers get 35 000 pounds. I'd settle for the loser's cheque for my novel :) Thanks for commenting.
